As a kid, I was always somewhat fascinated and terrified by the Doomsday Clock; the symbol that represents the likelihood of a man-made global catastrophe.

It is ominously updated in January each year, by theBulletin of the Atomic Scientists. It’s a little bit less tech than what usually goes around these parts but it’s emblematic of the world around us.
