Back in July, we gained word of a new Amazfit wearable in hitting the US possibly as an upgradedMi Band 5. Now, the newly launched Amazfit Band 5 fits that profile.
Spotted byWearable, the Band 5 looks like its Xiaomi contemporary, packing an elongated AMOLED screen and fastens to a user’s arm using a silicon strap. The wearable weighs in around 12g.

While they may look similar, the Band 5 packs a beefier spec sheet compared to the Mi Band 5.Amazon Alexasupport makes an appearance, but there’s no mention of a speaker on the band itself to receive verbal replies. Still, the smart assistant should give users a fair amount of control over other Alexa-powered devices in their homes.
