Thankfully, Samsung is rolling out One UI 4 beta to those phones in the United States right now (viaSamMobile). If you’re confident enough to test out unfinished software, you’re able to apply to download the beta throughthe Samsung Members app. Just open the app on your phone and find the banner advertising the beta program. You might need to close and open the app a few times to see it.
Keep in mind that there are usually limited numbers of beta sign-ups. As such, if you really want this, we recommend getting on it as soon as you’re able.
One UI 4 brings all the Android 12 updates built into the stock operating system. It also brings new Samsung-exclusive features as well as updates to existing Samsung features. you may see what to expect inour hands-on with the beta.
If you’re uncomfortable using beta software (which is totally understandable), Samsung has alreadycommitted to a timelinefor the stable launch. Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 owners can expect to see the stable One UI 4 launch happen throughout January and February 2022. That’s a little bit of a wait, but it might be worth it if you don’t want to deal with bugs and missing features.
