GPU Turbo update confirmed for these HUAWEI devices (Update: Not coming to US)

Update, 07/16 at 6:44 p.m. EDT:If you live in the U.S. and happen to own a HUAWEI device on the list below, you’re out of luck. In a statement toAndroid Authority, a HUAWEI representative confirmed that the GPU Turbo update is not headed to any HUAWEI smartphone in the United States.
Original article, 07/16 at 7:16 a.m. EDT:HUAWEI has announced it will soon begin rolling out GPU Turbo to its major smartphones. The gaming performance upgrade, previouslyannounced for HONOR phones, will be deployed to HUAWEI handsets from August.
In an emailed press release, HUAWEI also provided a schedule for the handsets set to receive the update — complete with markets. Check it out below.
HUAWEI first discussed GPU Turbo via its sub-brand HONOR in early June. The technology is said to improve performance when using graphically intensive games and apps. To that end, HUAWEI said GPU Turbo will initially support shooterPUBG Mobileand MOBAMobile Legends: Bang Bang, with more titles to be announced in the future.
GPU Turbo is said to optimize system resource management to improve graphics processing efficiency “by up to 60 percent” and reduce SoC power consumption “by 30 percent.” In theory, this should make games run smoother and consume less battery. We’ll have to wait until August to see the results for ourselves.
