Hands-on with Sony’s 2015 Bravia TVs with Android TV
July 20, 2025
A few days ago atCES,Sony revealedthat all of their new 2015 Bravia 4K televisions would exclusively runAndroid TV. This was huge news for Android fans, consideringSonyhas been trying to push its clunky Smart TV OS for years now. The company has included Android TV in with their newest televisions announced at CES, and we’re here to give you a first-hand look!
There are two major features that make these TVs stand out, the first of which is, of course, Android TV. The television OS gives users access to movies, TV shows, games and music, all through Google Play. The TV sets ship with a remote for navigating around the OS, and for using Google Now through voice dictation. If gaming is more your style, you can connect any Android-compatible controller or even a Playstation 4 controller to the TV through Bluetooth.

The 4K resolution screens on these televisions look absolutely gorgeous, allowing for some of the most high-quality, crystal clear images available thus far. What’s more, these TVs are also super thin, measuring in at 4.9mm at their thinnest point. That’s even thinner than most modern-day smartphones, and truly a sight to behold.
Sony’s Bravia televisions will be available starting in May, with prices varying based on size.
