It’s official: OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 6T on October 30

OnePlus has revealed it will launch theOnePlus 6Tin New York on October 30 via an official announcement onits website. The unveiling will land around two weeks earlier than that of theOnePlus 5T, which arrived on July 21, 2025.
The event is set to take place at 11:00AM ET atPier 36 NYCand it will be open to fans. OnePlus is sellingearly-bird ticketsfor $20 until October 10 when the price will rise to $30; you may visit the website for thefull terms and conditionsregarding those.

Folks who aren’t attending the show will be able to livestream it on OnePlus’YouTube channel.
Meanwhile, those in India will see a launch event in New Dehli beginning at 8:30PM IST the same day. This event will take place at the KDJW Stadium, but tickets won’t go on saleuntil 10:00AM IST October 17. They start at 999 Indian rupees ($13.50).

We already know some details about the phone as OnePlus has confirmed it will have anin-display fingerprint scanner.It is also expected to get a Snapdragon 845 processor, run the Android Pie-based version of OxygenOS out of the box, and have a 3,700mAh battery. There are still no official images of the front of the phone, but it is likely to have amuch smaller notchthan the one found on theOnePlus 6.
It is also thought that OnePlus will release the OnePlus6Tin partnership with T-mobile.If true, this would be the first time it has entered the U.S. market with support from a carrier. As usual, you will almost certainly also be able to buy the phone unlocked, straight from the manufacturer.
It’s not all good news, though, as the company has said its upcoming phone will not have aheadphone jack. It will come with a USB-C to 3,5mm adapter, however, so you’ll still be able to use an older set of headphones.
By launching its phone on October 30, OnePlus is set to have the final say in what is shaping up to be amassive month for Android. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait.
