For those unfamiliar with the game,Lost Socks: Naughty Brothersis a hard-as-nails auto-runner with a unique cartoon style. You play as one of the titular socks in search of his lost brother, presumably because all socks have to come in pairs, right?

Most auto-runner games stick to a fairly simple control scheme, butLost Socksadds a little more variety to the mix. As well as a standard jump, you can inflate your head to float for a short time to avoid obstacles. There’s also a dash attack for smashing open crates and through hazards.

Each stage is littered with hordes of enemies, but thankfully your cotton-based avatar isn’t unarmed. Most of the bad dudes will go down with a blast from your regular machine gun, but if you’re in a tight spot you can whip out a more powerful rechargeable cannon.

Despite the kid-friendly visual style,Lost Socksis a punishing game with a steep difficulty curve, but if you’re up for a challenge then be sure to give it a try. Hit the button below to head over to the store page.
