Motorola One Vision brings extra-tall display and a 48MP camera for 299 euros

It seems like every manufacturer has a 48MP smartphone this year, ranging fromHuaweiandMeizutoSamsungandXiaomi.Motorolais the latest company to join the party with theMotorola One Vision.

The new phone features a48MPprimary rear camera (Samsung GM-1, f/1.7 aperture, OIS) as well as a 5MP depth sensor. Motorola is also going with a high-resolution snapper on the front, offering a 25MP punch-hole camera.

The manufacturer is also bringing a few camera tricks to the phone, including a Night Vision mode (its take on Night Sight and night mode), portrait lighting, and auto-smile capture.

The Motorola One Vision is definitely a mid-range device when you look at the power-related specs. Motorola’s device utilizes the unannounced Exynos 9609 chipset, offering a 2.2Ghz octa-core CPU (four Cortex-A73 and four Cortex-A53 cores) and budget Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. Other core specs include 4GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and a 3,500mAh battery with 15-watt charging.

The Moto One Vision also packs a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LCD screen (21:9), a rear fingerprint scanner,NFC, IP52 splash resistance, andAndroid Pie(usingAndroid One). Speaking of software, Motorola says the phone will receive updates to “Android Q and Android R.” Motorola is also promising security updates for three years, as you’d expect from an Android One phone.
