Every phone must pass through regulatory committees before they go on sale. We generally see devices hit the FCC (United States) or TENAA (China) a few weeks or months before a big launch. While they normally don’t provide a ton of information, they do confirm that the device exists. They also provide information like model numbers, supported Wi-Fi bands, and Bluetooth information.

We don’t have any specs yet, but we suspect that the Xperia XA2 Ultra will show off a new look for Sony. Its devices are well known for their OmniBalance design, but it’s getting dated. While companies like Samsung are lauded for their smartphone design, Sony just keeps pumping out thesame old thing.
