OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro get fourth Android Q beta: Here’s what it includes

If you don’t mind walking around with an unstable version ofAndroid Qon yourOnePlus 7orOnePlus 7 Pro, the latest update is now available! OnePlusofficially announcedits fourth developer preview of Android Q for the OnePlus 7 series.

The company didn’t list out what’s different with the fourth preview. That said,XDA-Developersnoticed Digital Wellbeing is now available in the Settings app. Even better, this version of Digital Wellbeing integrates Family Link’s parental controls.

Other changes include the ability to turn onZen Modefor 20, 30, 40, or 60 minutes, a new focus tracking setting in the stock OnePlus Camera app, updated gesture settings that don’t include the two-button navigation introduced inAndroid 9 Pie, and the battery indicator shifted next to the clock on the top-left of the Quick Settings panel.

As with all unfinished software, the fourth Android Q preview for the OnePlus 7 phones includes its fair share of known issues:

Even with the aforementioned issues, the fourth preview should be the most stable to date. It might also be one of the last previews we see from OnePlus — we expect Google to release the stable version of Android Q this month. In 2018, it took OnePlusonly 45 daysafter Google revealed the stable Android 9 Pie update to push out the update to theOnePlus 6.
