OnePlus 8 series pricing estimates leak, get ready to see 4-digit numbers
July 12, 2025
At this point, there’s not much we don’t already know aboutthe OnePlus 8 series, scheduled to launch officially next week. However, we’ve been missing reliable rumors about pricing. Now we’ve got some, and the rumored OnePlus 8 Pro price, in particular, is pretty intense.
According toWinFuture— which has proven to be a reliable source for rumors such as these — the cheapest phone in the OnePlus 8 series will start somewhere in the range of €719 and €729 (~$782/$793). If that’s true, it’s likely the phone would retail for $779 here in the US. That would be a pretty high jump in the starting price, considering theOnePlus 7Tfrom as recently as October started at$579.

Still, $779 is not an exorbitant price for a smartphone withthe latest Snapdragon processer, 5G connectivity, a triple-lens rear camera, tons of RAM, plenty of internal storage, and the reliable software updates OnePlus is known to offer.

However, the rumored OnePlus 8 Pro price is a lot more intense and drastically different from the starting price of the OnePlus 7T Pro from October and the OnePlus 7 Pro from May 2019. According toWinFuture, the entry-level OnePlus 8 Pro price could land in the range of between €919 and €929 (~$1,000/$1,011). For comparison, theOnePlus 7 Prostarted at $669 less than one year ago.
To make matters worse, the estimated top-of-the-line OnePlus 8 Pro price reaches intoSamsung Galaxy S20 Plusterritory. Allegedly, the OnePlus 8 Pro with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage could cost somewhere in the range of €1,009 or €1,019 (~$1,098/$1,109). Once again, for comparison, the OnePlus 7 Pro with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage cost $749.
Judging from whatWinFuturehas told us, here are ourestimatedprices for the OnePlus 8 series in US dollars:
Keep in mind that these are rumored prices. It’s very possible these could be wholly inaccurate or changed at the last minute by OnePlus. However, one thing is pretty much a given at this point: there will very likely be a huge jump in pricing for the OnePlus 8 series as compared to the phones in the OnePlus 7 series.
