July 13, 2025

According to a new leak, the forthcomingOnePlus Nord 2could be considerably more expensive than its predecessor in India.

Info obtained by91Mobilessuggests the Nord 2 will start at Rs 31,999 (~$429). This base model will reportedly pack 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you want 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, you’ll have to fork out Rs 34,999 (~$469).

This would make the OnePlus Nord 2 the most expensive model in the Nord line by some margin. It’s a noticeable price bump over the baseoriginal Nord, too, which landed for Rs 24,999 (~$335) last year. Granted, that model did feature 64GB of storage. As a further comparison, the 128GB Nord was priced at Rs 27,999 (~$376). TheOnePlus 9Rlaunched in India for Rs 39,999 (~$536).

While users might not be too thrilled by that increase, OnePlus could chalk it down to specs and feature improvements. Rumors suggest an upgraded 50MP sensor will headline a triple rear camera. OnePlus also confirmed the phone will use the high-endMediaTek Dimensity 1200— a fair upgrade over the Snapdragon 765G. However, the phone seemingly won’t see core design changes. The Nord 2’s 90Hz 6.44-inch OLED panel doesn’t differ much from the Nord’s display on paper. Battery life may only benefit from a slim 385mAh increase.

What do you think of the OnePlus Nord 2’s rumored price?

91Mobilesalso shed light on the expected colorways, but don’t hold your breath for any fancy hues. Grey Sierra and Blue Haze will reportedly be among the offerings. A special leather Green Woods edition may also be offered, but this could come with a further price bump.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait too long to confirm the Nord 2’s price, specs, or colorways. The phone will debut on July 22 in Europe and India.
