Pokémon: Detective Pikachu Playmoji pack coming to Playground

The first live-action Pokémon film hits theatres next week: Pokémon: Detective Pikachu. To help celebrate the film’s release,Googleis launching a new pack ofPlaymojifor Google Playground which tie-in to the movie.
Using the Pokémon: Detective Pikachu Playmoji pack, you can shoot photos and videos of various Pokémon in an AR environment. The Pokémon on hand for this launch are Detective Pikachu, Charizard, Jigglypuff, and Mr. Mime.
As an example of what you can do, here’s a cute screenshot of Detective Pikachu enjoying a nice cup of coffee with the photographer:
You can pick your favorite Pokémon of the four to join you in your pics and vids, or you can mix-and-match a few or all of the gang in one. If you choose to make a video with a Pokémon Playmoji, the characters will even react to your movements using machine learning technology.
Google Playgroundand the related Playmoji characters are available on Google Pixel smartphones, including the latestGoogle Pixel 3. Playmoji are also available on select Motorola and LG smartphones.
