Pull up Google Pay with just one button on your Pixel (Update: Removed)

Update: July 16, 2025 at 9:02 a.m. ET:It looks like Cards & Passes has now beenremovedfrom Pixel phones running Android 11 developer preview 1. Hopefully we’ll get to see the feature show up again in the March 2020 feature drop, which could roll out to Pixels sometime next week.

Cards & Passes was first spotted in the Android 10 beta and is alreadyavailable to Pixel users in Singapore. It lets you bring up every card or pass stored in your Google Pay wallet by pressing the Power button.
According to9to5Google, the feature is now widely available on Pixel phones with Android 11. The publication notes that the new shortcut could roll out more widely in Google’s expected March feature drop. It’s too small a feature to be specific to an OS update, and the publication recentlyfound evidencepointing to its inclusion in the upcoming Pixel feature drop.

How to use Cards & Passes on Google Pixel
To bring up the Cards & Passes menu, you need to first enable the option from the Settings menu on your Pixel phone.
Once you’ve turned it on, you will be able to access it by pressing and holding the power button. Swiping right on the Cards & Passes menu will show different payment methods and passes. If you have a lot of payment methods you may tapView allto select your desired payment option.
You also have control over how the feature functions when your phone is locked.
As we said before, Cards & Passes is currently limited to Pixel phones running the Android 11 dev preview. We will update this article once it rolls out more widely to regular Pixel users not on the latest developer preview program.
