August 14, 2025
The realme brand has done some fantastic numbers ever since it launched in India roughly a year ago. That trend looks to continue with therealme 3 Pro, which made its debut in India and quickly sold out.
According to realme CEO Madhav Sheth, the latest model sold out its first shipment of 170,000 units in just eight minutes. Sheth added that additional stock was incoming and due to go on sale on the first day too, which suggests the final sales figure will be higher.

This figure falls short of the standardrealme 3, which purportedly sold210,000 unitson its first day. It still makes for an impressive number though, as the realme 3 Pro is the more expensive smartphone.
Sheth also had news for owners of older realme devices, giving outspecific launch datesfor theAndroid Piebeta. The CEO notes that the transition from beta to stable firmware will take roughly 15 to 20 days. The beta launch dates are as follows:
The good news doesn’t stop there for existing realme owners, as the CEO confirmed in avideo(skip to seven minute mark) that Hyperboost tech was coming to older devices. Sheth noted that the game-boosting tech will come to therealme 1,realme U1, and therealme 2 Provia the Android Pie/ColorOS 6 update. He added that the feature is still being considered for the realme C1 andrealme 2.
