Report: Samsung’s next Galaxy M device may not be a smartphone at all
June 14, 2025
Samsung’s Galaxy M series is reportedly awaiting the arrival of a new member, but it may not be a mid-range smartphone at all. According to91Mobiles, the next Galaxy M device will be a tablet dubbed the Galaxy Tab M62.
Bearing the model number SM-M625F, not much is known about the mysterious device at present. It was initially believed to be the range-topping Galaxy M smartphone for 2021, but if the new report is true, it will be the Galaxy M series’ first tablet member.
It’s likely the Galaxy Tab M62 will be placed below the Galaxy Tab S flagship line but above the budget Galaxy Tab A series. Like its smartphone siblings, the M series tablet may also cater to mid-range buyers in countries like India. If you want flagship specs, you’ll probably still have to fork out on theGalaxy Tab S7 series.
Samsung Galaxy Tab M62: What can we expect?
Per the report, the Galaxy Tab M62 is said to arrive with 256GB of storage — a decidedly healthy figure for a mid-range tablet. We can make an educated guess about the tablet’s battery. Considering some smartphone members of the Galaxy M series — like theGalaxy M51— already sport 7,000mAh cells, it wouldn’t be a stretch to imagine a similar capacity in a tablet-sized device.
Other key specs, availability, and pricing info remain unknown at this point but we expect more info to surface in the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you’re in the market for a new tablet, have a look at our list of the best offerings available below.
