Samsung has another Galaxy Unpacked ready to go: Details here! (Updated)

Update: June 30, 2025 (7:08 AM ET): Samsung has revealed additional details about its upcoming Unpacked announcements. According to an officialblog post, the company will unveil its next-generation Galaxy Book lineup at the virtual event.
The new laptops will see Samsung expand its partnership with Microsoft and Intel to create “devices in the Galaxy Ecosystem that are as thin and as light as possible.”
Original article: August 09, 2025 (6 PM ET):Earlier this month, Samsung launchedthe Galaxy S22 series. It also launchedthe Galaxy Tab S8 familyduring the same Galaxy Unpacked event.
Now, it looks like Samsung is already geared up for another Galaxy Unpacked 2022 launch. This second event will take place on August 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM ET. That coincides with Mobile World Congress, a huge tech event taking place in Barcelona.

However, as with every Galaxy Unpacked over the past few years, this will be an all-virtual event. You’ll be able to watch a livestream of the launch onSamsung’s YouTube pageas well asSamsung.com.
Of course, the big question is what is Samsung launching? Being that the company just launched some of the biggest smartphones and tablets of the year, we highly doubt it will launch more of those at this second event.
Additionally, Samsung usually launches foldables in the second half of the year. That will also likely be when it launches new smartwatches.
All that leaves isWindows laptopsandChromebooks. As such, it’s a safe bet they will at least be included in this second Galaxy Unpacked for 2022. However, we might be surprised and see some other products land that we don’t expect.
