Samsung’s leaked Galaxy S21 teasers reveal a two-tone design
July 06, 2025
You might not have to lean on unofficialrendersandphotosto get a feel for what theGalaxy S21will look like.Android Policesays it has obtained teaser videos for the Galaxy S21 family, and the leak appears to shed more light on Samsung’s 2021 flagship design in addition to confirming the branding.
Most notably, the teaser leak suggests at least the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus will come in two-tone color options where the camera bump and frame contrast sharply with the body. You’d get bronze accents with the Phantom Violet models you see here, for example. The S21 Ultra teaser only shows a black model, though that doesn’t necessarily rule out more colorful versions.

The clips also suggest the S21 and S21 Plus will have flat screens, while the S21 Ultra will curve at the edges.
Samsung’s teaser video leak otherwise supports the camera claims you’ve seen in earlier Galaxy S21 scoops. Both the base S21 and S21 Plus would have three rear cameras that are expected to include 12MP regular and ultra-wide sensors as well as a 64MP “telephoto” cam. The S21 Ultra, meanwhile, would include a second-generation 108MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide and two 10MP telephoto sensors with 3X and 10X optical zoom. TheNote 20 Ultra’squicker laser autofocus would replace the time-of-flight sensor from theS20 Ultra.

Beyond this, many expect the S21 series to represent a subtle evolution of Samsung’s formula with an upgrade to the speedierSnapdragon 888processor (and a comparable Exynos in many markets). You might see S Pen support on the S21 Ultra, but youmight not get a chargerin the box for any of these models.
The company hasn’t outlined just when you can expect to see the Galaxy S21 family. However,APsources claim Samsung will hold an Unpacked event on January 14, with a release on January 29. The phonesmay be less expensive, too. While we’d take any release talk with caution until Samsung makes things official, this corroborates earlier rumors. Samsung might not be willing to wait until the usual February or March time frame to make an impact, and it’s hard to blame the company given fierce Chinese competition and a turbulentpandemic-era phone market.
