The removal of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus isn’t too surprising, as both theSamsung Galaxy S6and theSamsung Galaxy S6 Edgewere removed from Samsung’s update list back in March. The S6 Edge Plus got to hang around for a few extra months, but its removal was imminent.

The Galaxy Note 5’s removal was also expected, as the device is over three-years-old at this point. Samsung promises updates for its flagship devices for a minimum of two years, so the Galaxy Note 5 already got an extra year of updates before it was pulled from the active list.
