Verizon launches Annual Upgrade Program with Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

It’s true that your new smartphone will be your pride and joy for months – maybe even a full year – but eventually the aura of newness wears off, and the sleek dazzle of technology becomes old hat. Things fall apart, the center cannot hold, the falcon cannot hear the falconer. Soon that flagship machine is just a tool that gets the job done, and all of your friends have upgraded to snazzier, more impressive gadgets. However, Verizon is offering a solution to stave off entropy for good.
It’s called theirAnnual Upgrade Program, and if you pre-ordered aSamsung Galaxy S7orGalaxy S7 Edge, then you’re already on it. Moreover, Verizon is extending this plan to anybody who purchases either of these smartphones on their device payment option. The way that it works is that, each year, the carrier will let you pick out any new smartphone and swap in your previous one for it. You can upgrade so long as you’ve paid off more than 50% of your current device and so long as 30 days have passed since you initially purchased it
