August 10, 2025

The last two weeks have been busy. FollowingGoogle I/O 2019with the release of thethird Android Q beta,Pixel 3a,Pixel 3a XL, andNest Hub Max, OnePlus unveiled theOnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7.

Both phones feature the latest and greatest features, including a pop-up selfie camera on theOnePlus 7 Pro. Unfortunately, all of these new additions add up, making for the most expensive phone from OnePlus to date.

So wedecided to ask you, are you planning to buy theOnePlus 7 proorOnePlus 7? Here’s what you had to say.

Are you buying the OnePlus 7 or 7 Pro?

The results of this week’s poll are pretty cut and dry. Out of the almost three thousand votes, 49 percent of you don’t plan to purchase theOnePlus 7 ProorOnePlus 7.

Taking a look at thecomment section, it appears that most no longer see the value that OnePlus used to offer. Back in the day, the company sold phones that were more on the budget side of the market, so it made sense that the handsets were missing premium features.

Now, though, OnePlus is selling the OnePlus 7 Pro — the only model available in the U.S. — forbetween $669 and $749. At cost point, the handset is closer in price to premium flagships. For not much more money, customers could buy phones withIP ratings, wireless charging, and better cameras.
