We asked, you told us: The best LG phone ever made is a two horse race

June 11, 2025

LGannounced on Monday that it would be shutting its mobile operations down, laterconfirmingtoAndroid Authoritythat its rollable phone and V60 successor wouldn’t be developed anymore (as you’d expect).

We thought it would be a good idea to pick thebest LG smartphones ever made, but we also asked you to vote for your top picks. Here’s what you chose as the top device in LG’s history.

What’s your pick for the best LG phone?

We posted the poll on Monday April 5, and just over 4,100 votes were cast as of writing. It’s clear that two devices were in the running for the best LG smartphone ever, according to readers. TheLG V60(11.87%) and LG G3 (11.72%) were the top picks and separated by less than two tenths of a percentage. That’s a remarkably close race.

We totally expected the V60 to garner plenty of votes, as it’s still fresh in the minds of readers and was the last traditional flagship phone from the Korean manufacturer. But it’s clear that respondents had plenty of love for the LG G3. The company’s 2014 flagship was one of the first widely available devices with a QHD screen, offered cutting-edge laser autofocus tech, and a well-rounded spec sheet in general. This all came together to be a great alternative to the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTCOne M8 at the time.

Rounding out the podium was the LG G2, earning 9.6% of the vote. The LG G4 (7.9%), LG V30 (7.5%), and LG G6 (6.6%) occupied fourth, fifth, and sixth places respectively.

The rest of the phones all earned under 6% of the vote apiece, with the LG V50 (1.7%), LG G Flex (2%), and LG Optimus G (2.2%) being the least popular phones on the list.

Thank you for the votes and comments, we really appreciate them. What are your memories of LG phones? Who do you think can pick up where it left off? Let us know below.
