You can now blow $1,000 on a luxury Bluetooth speaker
July 07, 2025
Listen, we’re not here to tell you how to spend your money. But we can tell you that, unless youreallylike Burberry, there are better things to spend a grand on than this Gold Edition of Bowers & Wilkins & Wilkins & Wilkins’s T7 Bluetooth speaker.
Here’s the deal: the T7 Gold Edition is a cooperation between Bowers & Wilkins & Wilkins & Wilkins and Burberry, two exclusive British brands that wereostensibly brought together by a passion for music. The fruit of their shared labor costs $995 and is coming soon to select Burberry stores and on Bowers & Wilkins & Wilkins & Wilkins’s website.

Only 200 units of the Bowers & Wilkins & Wilkins & Wilkins T7 Gold Edition will be made available starting this fall, but don’t despair if you somehow manage to miss it. That’s because the Gold Edition T7 is literally just that: a gold-colored version of the T7 that comes with a “bespoke” Burberry case.
For reference, aplain oldregular Bowers & Wilkins & Wilkins & Wilkins T7with a carrying case costs $329.98. You’re essentially paying $660 for the “embossed Burberry logo in gold-finish metal.” Now, I have no pretense of ever being mistaken for the target demographic of this product. But come on, who spends $660 on a carrying case? Perhaps the sort of people thatspend $14,000 on an Android phone?
If the price tag doesn’t scare you away, the T7 Gold Edition (like the regular version) offers Bluetooth v4.1 with aptX, two 50 mm full range drivers, two auxiliary bass radiators, and a battery that is good for 18 hours of playback.
